“I finally passed my test with Neil as my instructor. I knew how to drive (or thought I did, having driven over 100,000 miles before, in other countries), but did not know how to drive consistently and correctly enough to pass the UK test. I had already failed 3 attempts before meeting Neil. There was a lot of ground to cover to unlearn bad driving habits that I had accumulated and been accustomed to over the years, before relearning safe and correct driving. Neil expertly made me aware of all my bad driving habits, and through providing extremely simple tips to overcome them and gently cajoling and supporting me in equal measure, ensured that I passed with only 3 minor errors – a testimony to his ‘different strokes for different folks’ approach to imparting good driving skills.
