Independent driving instructor serving Bradford since 2008.
I’m a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) with years of experience teaching learners of all ability levels across Bradford. I used to work for a national driving school but now teach independently — which means more flexibility for you and a lesson schedule built around your life, not mine.
I take pride in making lessons genuinely enjoyable. Driving can be stressful enough without your instructor adding to it. My aim is to build your confidence steadily and safely, so that by test day you’re not just ready to pass — you’re ready to drive.
Originally from New Zealand, I’m a keen motorcyclist, guitarist, and Liverpool FC supporter. (All Blacks too — don’t hold that against me.)
The car
Lessons take place in a dual-controlled 2017 Toyota Yaris 1.4D — one of the most learner-friendly cars around. It’s compact and easy to manoeuvre, with excellent all-round visibility, a comfortable interior, and light, accurate controls.
Dual controls mean I can intervene at any time if needed, so you can focus entirely on learning without worrying about anything going wrong. The car is fitted with air conditioning, ABS, power steering, electric windows, and an adjustable steering column.
